| You have questions, we have answers!
Learn more about how your ESCO protection works.
Can I get ESCO protection for a hearing aid that’s
out of warranty?
ESCO provides protection for many hearing aid owners
who would be left out by other programs. We do require that your
hearing aid professional inspect the hearing aid before granting
coverage, to ensure it’s in good working condition. We cover
hearing aids up to 7 years of age.
Does ESCO cover normal wear and tear to my hearing
aid?
Yes, if you have coverage under ESCO’s Platinum
Plan. Compare ESCO protection
plans to determine the level of coverage that’s right
for you.
Is the claims process quick?
Yes! Just complete and submit your claim within
90 days of your loss or damage, and we’ll do our best to issue
a response within one working day. No notary is required! If you’ve
lost or damaged your hearing aid, learn how to file a claim.
Does ESCO require a specific repair lab or only
one manufacturer?
No. Hearing aid professionals in the ESCO network
may work directly with the manufacturer of your hearing aid or with
the repair lab of choice. However, in some cases, when the hearing
aid is repaired by a lab or manufacturer other than the original
manufacturer, it may jeopardize any future repairs or replacements
by the original manufacturer.
How do I know I still have coverage?
ESCO will mail you a renewal notice prior to your
policy’s expiration date. The renewal encourages you to visit
your hearing aid professional for regular maintenance that is essential
to keeping your hearing aid in good working condition. ESCO also
sends your hearing aid professional a registration card to keep
on hand in your patient file.
